I’m Brandon Stroud; an Atlanta based Design Executive with an exceptional record of success as the Director of multiple Product Development Programs and Departments. I’ve had the privilege of helping build some incredible companies as well as the opportunity to lead the design and launch of hundreds of successful products. My passion is recruiting, developing and leading high performing Design Teams and utilizing actionable consumer insights to build highly profitable and successful product focused brands. This website contains a brief example of some of my work. Thank you for visiting.
As part of Igloo Products Corp., my goal is to bring new creative energy and focus to a world-renowned brand. My mission is to develop ground breaking new products across multiple categories and passionately lead this incredible team of talented individuals towards our newly established objectives.
New innovations coming soon...
bubba brands, inc. was an Atlanta based Product Development company that specialized in Drinkware and Thermal Hydration Products. In this role I led Product Development, product line integration and brand strategy formulation. I also led a full company re-branding initiative and was integral in overseas supplier relations. I had the honor of playing a key role in growing bubba brands, inc. from a $4M PD company to an $83M acquisition.
ATLANTA, Oct. 22, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Newell Rubbermaid (NYSE:NWL) today completed its acquisition of the assets of bubba brands, inc. ("bubba"), a wholly owned subsidiary of In Zone Holdings, Inc., for a purchase price of $83 million.
Adrenaline Powerboats is a World Renowned builder of truly exotic High Performance Offshore Powerboats. At Adrenaline I was responsible for executing the Design and Development of our full line of Speedboats. My responsibilities included overseeing the complete design and development process for hulls, decks, cockpits and cabins as well as interior designs, installations and paint schemes. I also developed working prototypes and managed key customer relationships.
I was fortunate enough to help extend the company's product line, establish our brand identity, and facilitated consistent sales growth year-over-year.
Due to the entrepreneurial nature of most Product Development companies, expanding into adjacent categories is always a targeted goal. Here you will find multiple products we created at bubba brands, inc. with that sole focus in mind.
The Big Steel Keg was a product born out of pure passion. We had a passion for grilling and an obsession for making products stronger and better. The kamado-style grill you see here features a Dual-Walled Stainless Steel body built for durability, a fully mobile platform, 27 patents, light weight construction and is 2.3 times more thermally efficient than its #1 competitor. Slow smoking or high-temp searing, it is without a doubt the best grill you will ever own… but then again I might be a little partial.
Let me set the stage… Our successful yet nimble Product Development Company (bubba brands, inc.) had finally hit her stride and we were experiencing complete hyper growth. We had outgrown our smaller, loft-style office and had just purchased the top floor of a corporate high-rise in order to expand. The concern was that we would completely lose our extremely unique culture and collaborative environment. The solution was to design a space that fostered and embraced that culture and that would also attract world class talent. I was in charge of the design and execution of our new world headquarters and had the pleasure of working some incredible Architects and Interior Designers (VeenendaalCave) to help accomplish this task. The pictures to the right are the completed project.
Commissioned by RedBull USA, this was an extremely collaborative design project with the sole purpose of defining the future of MotoGP Racing. We worked directly with RedBull USA, Eric Bostrom and Ben Bostrom to develop two futuristic MotoGP Motorcycles that were to be displayed at The RedBull US Grand Prix held at Laguna Seca Raceway in Salinas, California. The project was a complete success and both concept motorcycles seen here can be found on display at the Barber Motorsports Museum located in Leeds, AL.
I was commissioned by an individual who I had previously designed a Custom Powerboat for to design and illustrate Private Jet Interior concepts for his very unique company. The objective was to take retired, decommissioned commercial aircraft and transform them into custom, one-of-a-kind, Luxury Private Jets. We would design, rebuild and refit entire aircraft tailored to the buyers every want and need in less than 11 months. Unfortunately multiple designs cannot be shown due to confidentially agreements, but all of our projects have been a complete success.
To the right you will see a few of the various projects that I have developed throughout the past decade.
To the right you will see a few examples of various exploratory sketches, some of which are linked to completed projects found on this site.
